Welcome to DestHub Event Management Application. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. User Accounts and Access

2.1 Account Registration
To access certain features, users must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration. Anonymous users may access limited features such as event registration and ticket verification but cannot create events.

2.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your login details with anyone. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately.

2.3 Termination of Accounts
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if there is a violation of these Terms or suspicious activity is detected.

3. Event Registration and Payments

3.1 Registration for Events
Users can register for events either as signed-in users or as anonymous guests. All registrations are final, and refunds are subject to the event organizer's policies.

3.2 Payment Processing
Payments for event tickets, donations, or other services are securely processed through Paystack. Payment splitting allows a portion of the fee to be sent to an external account, as entered by the event organizer. For paid events, event organizers will be charged a fee of ₦200 per ticket sold (excluding bank charges). For free donation-based events, a 10% service fee will be deducted from each donation made through the platform. We are not responsible for errors in payment details provided by users.

4. Ticketing and Verification

Each event registration generates a unique ticket that is verified through QR code scanning. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be used by multiple individuals. Unauthorized duplication or misuse of tickets may result in account suspension.

5. Volunteer Registration and Roles

Registered users can apply to become volunteers (e.g., Ushers) to help manage events. Volunteers will have access to ticket verification tools but cannot modify event details. Misuse of volunteer privileges may result in removal from the role.

6. Data Privacy and Security

6.1 Data Collection
We collect and store user information such as names, emails, registration details, and event preferences. Payment details are processed securely via Paystack and are not stored by us.

6.2 Data Protection
We implement security measures to protect user data. However, no system is entirely secure. Users should report any suspected data breaches immediately.

6.3 Sharing of Data
Personal data is not sold to third parties. Event organizers may access attendee data only for event management purposes.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:
- Use false information to create accounts or register for events.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the Platform.
- Engage in fraudulent activities related to payments or ticketing.
- Use the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

We provide the Platform on an "as-is" basis without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform. Event organizers are responsible for their events, and we do not guarantee event quality or refunds.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
